Terms of Service

Meliyo is a Windows desktop application that automates the production and publishing of videos for your YouTube channel. Software agents in the App write the script, create the voiceover, render the video, make the thumbnail and publish the result on the schedule you set, using third-party AI and media services through your own accounts with those providers.

You add the topics. Meliyo does not choose topics for you.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement.
• You sign in with a Google account. New accounts are reviewed and approved before first use. We may decline a request for access, and we may withdraw approval if these Terms or the Rules are breached.
• Give accurate information, keep your account for your own use, and keep your computer and your sign-in secure. You are responsible for what happens under your account.

The App is free to download. Meliyo charges no per-video AI fees.

The App works with your own Claude subscription and your own API keys. You pay those providers directly, under their own terms; their prices, quotas and limits are between you and them.

If we introduce paid features in the future, we will tell you in advance, and nothing will be charged without your explicit agreement.

Meliyo connects to services operated by others — including YouTube and other Google services, Anthropic (Claude), ElevenLabs and, once that feature is enabled, Facebook and Instagram (Meta). Your use of each service is governed by that provider’s own terms and policies, and you are responsible for complying with them.

Meliyo uses YouTube API Services. By using Meliyo to connect to or publish on YouTube, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/t/terms.

We do not control these services. They may change, limit or stop their features, prices or access at any time, and we are not responsible for their availability or for their decisions about your accounts, channels or content.

• As between you and us, the content produced with Meliyo on your computer is yours, subject to the terms of the third-party services used to create it. We claim no ownership of it.
• Content is generated by AI and may be inaccurate, incomplete or similar to existing works. Review it before it is published.
• You decide what is published on your channels and you are solely responsible for it — including compliance with the law, with the rights of others, and with the rules of the platforms you publish to (for example YouTube’s policies on copyright, monetization and the disclosure of altered or synthetic content).
• We do not review your videos before they are published.

Your use of Meliyo must follow the Rules, which are part of these Terms.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App in accordance with these Terms. The App, its name, logo and design remain our property.

You may not copy, resell, rent or redistribute the App; reverse engineer, decompile or modify it, except where the law expressly allows this; remove or bypass its technical protections or the account approval; or use it to build a competing product.

The App downloads and installs updates so that it keeps working correctly. We may add, change or remove features, and we may suspend or discontinue Meliyo in whole or in part.

If you post in the in-app community, you allow us to store what you post and to show it to other Meliyo users. We may hide or remove posts and restrict access to the community when the Rules are breached.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, we may use them to improve Meliyo without any obligation to you.

You may stop using Meliyo at any time by uninstalling the App, and you may ask us to delete your account.

We may suspend or end your access if you breach these Terms or the Rules, if we are required to do so by law or by a third-party provider, or if we discontinue the service. The sections that by their nature should continue — including those on your content, disclaimers, limitation of liability and indemnity — remain in force after termination.

Meliyo is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

We do not promise any result — for example views, subscribers, revenue, monetization approval or the growth of your channel. We do not promise that Meliyo will work without interruption or error, or that a scheduled production will always complete: this depends, among other things, on your computer, your internet connection and third-party services.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, channels or accounts, arising from or related to your use of Meliyo.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims related to Meliyo is limited to the amount you paid us for Meliyo in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you, or rights that you have as a consumer and that cannot be waived.

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for claims, losses and costs (including reasonable legal fees) that arise from the content you publish, from your use of third-party services through Meliyo, or from your breach of these Terms or the Rules.

We may update these Terms. When we do, we change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page; if the changes are significant, we also tell you in the App or on the Site. If you continue to use Meliyo after the changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the U.S. state in which Az Smart Studios LLC is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rules of the country where you live remain unaffected.

If a provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in force. The English version of these Terms prevails over any translation.

YouTube, Google, Claude, Anthropic, ElevenLabs, Facebook, Instagram, Meta and Windows are trademarks of their respective owners. Meliyo is an independent product and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by them.
